Sandra L. Kuehne, 82, passed away in the afternoon, Sunday, January 8, 2023, at The Living Centre in Stevensville. Sandra was born November 4, 1940, in Sidney, Montana, to Henry Teichrow and Neva (Salsbury) Teichrow.

Sandra graduated from Havre High School in Havre, Montana, in 1958. She attended Northern Montana College in Havre from 1958-1960, where she obtained a degree as a Medical Secretary.

In July 1960 she worked in various hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices as a medical secretary, as well as a clerk-typist for 1-1/2 years for the United States Army. In the Fall of 1978, she went to work for the U.S. Forest Service in Missoula, Montana in several different clerical positions until her retirement in December of 2000.

On June 19, 1960, she married Edwin Kuehne in Havre, Montana. She was active in the LWML women's group in her church for many years and taught Sunday School for several years. While living in Oregon she did ceramics for a number of years. She was an avid reader all her life. She enjoyed the many camping and vacation trips she shared with family and friends over the years and the winters in Arizona after she retired. She had many wonderful friends in her lifetime and a loving family she was so proud of.  One of her favorite things in life was having such a wonderful granddaughter (Rosalyn) and grandson (Riley).

A memorial Service will take place at First Lutheran Church, 2808 S. Ave W., Missoula, Montana at a later date. Interment will be at the Western Montana Veterans Cemetery, 1911 Tower Street. A Reception will be held at the First Lutheran Church.

The family suggests memorials go to The Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
