Obituary

Luci Wolfe Synek

May 8, 1967 - October 17, 2021

Lucille Marie Wolfe Synek was a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her life was taken too soon in Missoula, Montana on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 54.

She was born in Weston, West Virginia on May 8, 1967 to the late Edward E. Wolfe Jr. and Dessie (Yeager) Wolfe. She grew up with her family in Glenville, West Virginia until she graduated and rode a Greyhound bus to Montana.

On May 14, 1994 Luci was united in marriage to Bryan Synek in Billings, Montana where they resided for a short time until moving to Missoula, Montana. On June 17,1995 Luci gave birth to her only son: Dustin Wolfe Synek in Denver, Colorado after a series of extensive surgeries and time spent in the hospital.

After a few years, the family of three then moved into their house in Florence, Montana where they resided for the entirety of Dustin ' s education.

Luci had a heart of gold and an unprecedented sense of selflessness. She would go any distance to make a positive impact on another ' s life. She spent much of her time in Florence volunteering at Florence-Carlton K-12, and would spend her summers raising funds and awareness for charities benefiting those suffering from pediatric cancer. In her downtime she would craft light hearted children ' s stories that she would give to those who were in need of positivity. She was a talented baker, creating artistic creations from her own recipes that she would use for unique gifts for her friends and family.

Luci was a survivor. Even a series of invasive heart surgeries did not slow her down. A triple heart bypass early in 2020 only gave her more motivation to live and love to the fullest extent. She adored riding her Harley and spending time on the open road, taking in every single experience she could. There wasn ' t a single thing that could have extinguished the fire she had to learn from and spread love in the world around her.

Her life has touched many in the Missoula area and Bitterroot Valley. She embraced all she met and worked with at Walmart with a soft, loving smile and a big hug. She could see past any flaw, and extract the good from any interaction. Her positivity and supportive outlook were contagious and her small family of three eventually swelled with many, many more people that she loved just like they were her own. Her empathy and affection knew no bounds, and had no limit.

Surviving are her husband, Bryan Synek of Missoula, MT; her son: Dustin Wolfe Synek, her mother: Dessie (Yeager) Wolfe, her two brothers: Jim Wolfe and Eddie Wolfe (Traci), her sister: Debbie Jones (John) and several nieces and nephews who will miss her very much.

Luci was preceded in death by her father Edward E. Wolfe Jr. in December 1978.

Luci will be missed greatly, and her memory and life will be remembered and cherished forever.

We all love and miss my Mom dearly.
