John David
Muoio
Aug 9, 1962 — Jan 26, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved brother and husband, John David Muoio of Hamilton, Montana, on January 26, 2025 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington, after a long battle with his kidney transplant. His wife Andrea was at his side when he passed.
John was a go getter from the start. When he was around one and a half years old decided while I was watching tv, that he was going to come over and Bite my big toe! Mine you I'm about nine years older then him. From then on, I called him the Brat! He was far from being a brat. Kind, caring and loving. When John would come back and see our parents he would always get me involved with repairing something at the house and say when I come back will fix something else. When our mother was sick, he came out asap. Staying for almost 5 years. He was a true warrior and didn't let anything get in his path. He was the son of the late Frank J. & Josphine M. (Palma) Muoio of South Norwalk, CT. John attended St. Joseph's and Columbus Elementary School. A graduate of Brien McMahon HS Class of 1980. He was certified body & fender man and worked at the family business for many years (Frankie's Service Inc.) in South Norwalk until moving to Montana. He enjoyed cars and was avid photographer and won many awards. His favorite photographer was Ansel Adams.
He is survived by his wife Andrea, Sister's Ann Palisano & Joan & Richard Thane, Charles Genet, Uncle Carlo Palma, his Forever childhood friend Judi Rotar. Many cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends. His Mother in law, Sally Poulin, Richard Poulin, Sister in law, Lana & Brian Laczka, and sister in law Barbara Smith, his cats Samara and Phoebe Mary Jane Moyo. John was predeceased by his sister, Christine Muoio Genet, brother Frank J Muoio, 3rd, and his first wife Cindy Powell, Lou Palisano, Joseph Buddy.
We would like to thank all the Doctors who treated John at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle WA, Home Care of Montana and especially Steve and Ron at Brothers Funeral Home in Hamilton for their compassion and understanding during this most difficult time. My brother John David is finally at rest. Please speak of him often and keep his spirit alive. Celebration of life will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation.
