Jeffrey D.
"Jeff" Knight
Jan 11, 1962 — Jan 24, 2021
Corvallis – Jeffery D. "Jeff" Knight, 59, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home in Corvallis.
Jeff was born in Delano, CA on January 11, 1962 to W.C. Knight and Donna Lee (Moore) White. He
graduated from Fort Bragg High School in 1980. He was a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Force in
1981 – 1992, Aircraft armament system technician and was honorably discharged. Jeff was ISA Certified
Crew Foreman for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for 25 years.
On March 26, 1984, Jeff married the love of his life, Nena Della Ray Basich.
Though Jeff didn't get to go as often as he wanted, or deserved, he loved to golf.
Jeff was an honest hard working man. He always knew the perfect moment to make an
inappropriate joke. He never hesitated to help anyone, whether it was charitable donations, or
helping a stranger on the side of the road. Jeff had a very straightforward attitude, and told you
what you needed to hear. (Whether you wanted to hear it or not.) He was a good man and he will
be missed by many.
