It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Javen Samuel “Javeman” “Lil man” Kadrmas, age 20, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by the deep love of his many friends and family at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT.Javen was one of a kind—generous, witty, thoughtful, and deeply compassionate. With his infectious love, Javen had a way of bringing people together unlike anyone else. He made people feel seen, valued, and welcomed, and he had a gift for helping others become the best version of themselves. He was the connection point in a large blended family—the glue that held “yours, mine, and ours” together. He was creative and sharp, with a curious mind and a love for learning. Javen was pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at Montana Technological University, building a future around what he loved. He enjoyed gaming and was always thinking, always growing, and always finding ways to make things better.Javen loved deeply and without hesitation. He shared a special bond with his girlfriend Mae, who stood by his side for the past three years, and with his dog Ace, who brought him constant joy and comfort. More than anything, Javen lived a life of putting others before himself. He never sought recognition, never created conflict, and was always trying to make someone else’s day better. He brought people together in a way that felt effortless and real.Even in his hardest moments, that same love surrounded him. Friends showed up in the most beautiful way, filling hotel rooms with what could only be described as faith and family. To Javen, his friends were family, and he brought them all together just the same. In one of our final moments, we asked him, "Are you coming home, or going home?” And in our hearts, we know he answered. In the end, that same selfless spirit carried through. Javen gave so that others might live: a final reflection of the way he lived every day, always putting others first.Javen is survived by his parents, his eight siblings, and countless friends and extended family members who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of both Javen and his beloved grandmother, Donna Kadrmas, on August 4, 2026 in Cushing, WI at the Cushing Lutheran Church.
