Obituary

Corvallis - Glenn Clair Meyer, 75, was born on December 19, 1944 in Whittier, California to Lawrence "Dutch" and Jeanette (Stoebe) Meyer.   The youngest of four children (siblings - Larry, Ron and Donna) he grew up in Southern California until he joined the Air Force, he was stationed in Las Vegas at Nellis Air Force Base in 1964.

It was at Nellis Air Force base where he met his future wife, Tamela Jean in 1965.  Shortly thereafter, Glenn was deployed to Vietnam, 67-68.  Two weeks after his return, Glenn and Tamela married on September 14, 1968 at the Guardian Angel Cathedral in Las Vegas, NV.

The Meyer family lived in Hesperia, California from 1982-2002, where Glenn and Tam owned and operated a small family business, Hesperia Equipment Rentals. In 2002, Glenn and Tam proudly made the Bitterroot Valley their home. Glenn and his son, Paul, owned and operated Meyer Signs in Hamilton, MT  from 2002 - 2012.

Glenn passed away on April 16, 2020 in his home with his wife and daughter by his side.

Glenn is preceded in death by his son, Paul Jerome, who passed away on July 28, 2018.   He is survived by his wife, Tamela Jean; his daughter, Lee and her husband, David; two grandsons, Alexander and Dylan; his daughter-in-law, Kathy and her daughters, Avery and McKenna.
