On May 21st, 2018 we said goodbye to a wonderful woman with a beautiful soul. She left us way too soon. Ella had a laugh that was unlike any other, contagious, infectious and able to melt your heart. In her life, no one ever stayed a stranger for long. Ella never turned away a stray whether they were people or animals, they soon found themselves in the folds of our family. Ella loved her family with a whole-hearted passion that couldn't be matched.
Ella was born September 19th, 1953 in Olean, New York to Elwin (Gus) and Betty J. Irwin.
On September 4th, 1975 she gave birth to a daughter, Angela K. (Michael) O'Connell, her only child. A few years later they moved to San Diego, California. That is where she married the love of her life Charles (Kyle) Turner, on December 18th, 1982. They were blessed with 36 wonderful years together.
In 1996 when her grandson, Chance A. Grossman was born, Ella fell in love with her new role as a grandma. She loved that boy like there was no other option.
