Edwin Kuehne, age 83, passed away peacefully in his home on August 25th, 2022 after a difficult battle with Lewy Body dementia. Ed was born to Henry and Nina Kuehne on February 26, 1939 in Wolf Point, Montana. He married his wife, Sandra, in 1960 and together they raised 2 children, Randy and Rachelle (Shelly). Ed was a mechanic and his job with the Forest Service took the family to Oregon for several years before the family was able to return to Missoula in 1983. After retiring from the Forest Service he and Sandra moved to Florence and he worked at Ace Hardware. They became snowbirds, taking their motorhome to Arizona for several months every winter.

Ed could drive, fix and build almost anything. If you needed to borrow a tool, you could count on Ed having one (or three) of them! He loved tinkering in his shop. He loved old tractors, trains and old country music. But his greatest love was for his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he adored.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Nina and Henry Kuehne. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, his children, Randy of New Jersey and Shelly (Rick) Terry, his grandchildren, Rozalyn (Ramsey) Drew and Riley Terry, great grandsons, Preston and Thoren, his brothers Melvin (Cora Lee) Kuehne, Harold (Alice) Kuehne and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be postponed until a later date when family members can attend.
