Doris L. Burns' Obituary
Doris Louise Burns went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 6, 2020 at the age of 96.
Doris was born in Gravette, Arkansa on March 7, 1924 to James Meeks Haley and Clara Welch Haley. Her parents had one son and ten daughters including Doris's twin sister. She married Donald Burns on December 20, 1946.
They had six children. Paul (Glenda) of Port Orchard, WA, Phil (Jackie) of Sanford, FL, Dennis (Donna) of Victor, MT, Myron of Victor, MT, Gayle (Mark) of Hamilton, MT, and John (Connie) of Victor, MT.
Doris attended John Brown University in Arkansas and Biola University in California. Doris had many interests and skills including sewing, quilting, and gardening. She loved reading her Bible and many books over the years.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Don, parents, and all ten siblings.She is survived by her six children and their spouses, 21 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for next summer when more of her family can be together.
