Colleen Anne Askin, age 51, of Missoula, Montana passed away peacefully in her sleep at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, MT on the morning of October 27th, 2018 after battling lung cancer.

A gathering of remembrance will be held Saturday, November 11th at 2:00pm at the Eagles Club located at 2420 South Ave. W, Missoula, MT 59801. Arrangements are by her children, Derek Willson, Michelle Askin and Kristen Askin.

Colleen was born in New York on January 15th, 1966. She went to school in Miles City, Montana and lived most of her life in Missoula, Montana. She worked many jobs throughout her life but her most important job was being a mother and grandmother. Colleen loved boating, crafting with duct tape and cardboard, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Colleen is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel "Pat" Askin.

Colleen is survived by her children Derek Willson, Michelle Askin and Kristen Askin; siblings Ken Chrostofferson, Charles Christofferson, Kathy Netland, Denise Wilson-Oliver, Rob Wilson, Ron Askin and Doug Askin ; parents Ronald and Beverly Askin; grandchildren Alexander Wells, Patrick Reed, Carter Reed, and soon to be granddaughter .

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be sent to Colleen's children to help with cremation and memorial services.
