Hamilton - Christopher E. "Chris" Travis, 40, passed away ipeacefully n the afternoon, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at home with Sharon by his side. Chris was preceded in death by his father James Robert Travis, his mother Kathy C. McElroy and also a brother Adam Ray Travis. Chris is survived by his siblings April Rogge, Audrey Travis Hayes, and Jimmy Travis, along with neices and nephews also. Christopher loved his family and stood loyal to his beliefs and always tried being a positive role model for his younger family members. Chris moved to Montana and worked numerous jobs doing everything from cattle ranching to moving furniture to working in local restaurant kitchens. Which is where he finally found love when he met Sharon after hiring on at Finn's Taphouse. Creating food for many as well as themselves along with they're two blue healers Roxylynn and Bleu, the 4 grew to be inseparable and found a they're place of residency here in the Bitterroot in Hamilton, Montana.
