Carlos Pierson Jackson passed away on Monday July 22, 2024 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula following an early morning motorcycle accident. He gave the life saving gift of vital organs on July 27, 2024.

He was an iron worker for most of his life. Everyone who knew Carlos knew him as a hard worker, who always helped people in need around him. He was strong in his faith in God, as a frequent church going Protestant who particularly enjoyed Good News Fellowship, and loved worship music.

Carlos was an avid outdoorsman, fishing, hunting and camping at every chance, having a large collection of guns and knives. He particularly love motorcycles and old cars. He also had a lifelong interest in martial arts and boxing.

He is survived by his children, Raphael Jackson of Missoula, Brian Jackson of Iowa, Donny Jackson and Sophia Davis of Missoula, eight grandchildren: Acacia, Etienne, Chauncey, Achaikos, Ezraya, Cyra, Riley and Hailey, as well as his brother Edsel Rowe and Betty Jane Magnuson.

Carlos will be buried at Florence-Carlton Cemetery on Saturday August 3, 2024. There will be a viewing at noon followed by a graveside service at 1pm. Frank Chappel and Michael McGovern will be officiating..
