To Whom It May Concern,
In December 2007 my Mom Anna Van Blaricom passed away at the
age of 86 in her home in Milwaukee Oregon.
Her passing was difficult for us.
We moved her to Portland Oregon after her and my Father James were
unable to take care of themselves.
Both of my parents were born and raised in the Hamilton
area. Many times during my childhood and
adulthood too I attended memorial services at Dowling Funeral for Family and
close family friends. Memories like
those are not always easy as there is usually a lot of sorrow attached. Having to make arrangements and coordinate
family matters when in mourning yourself is very difficult.
I talked to Ron Brothers about arranging not only services
but travel arrangements for my Mom to Hamilton for Memorial and burial. We had a local mortuary here in Portland
prepare my Mom but Ron and his staff attended to all other details. The service itself was beautiful and Brothers
made sure all details were handled with thoroughness and care. Ron made sure all announcements were handled,
all other details from catering to flowers were made and we as a family were
very grateful.
In June of 2009 my Father James died suddenly in Canby
Oregon where I moved him to be closer to my family after my Mothers death. I called Ron within 2 hours of my Fathers
death to help me arrange all aspects of another sorrowful chapter of my
family’s life. He again did everything
expected of a professional in his profession but his patience, care and
thoroughness made one of the hardest times in my life more bearable.
I was aware that Brothers isn’t the only option in the
Ravalli County area but I wouldn’t trust my parents dignity to anyone
else.
Sincerely,
Tim Van Blaricom
